Frequently Asked Questions

(1) Artwork for sale

A unique artwork means that there is only one piece, as the title suggests. The artist works independently, and everything is handmade. This means there are no copies or replicas of the original. Unique, original, and authentic are the appropriate terms. If the existing artwork has been sold, it can be commissioned again. All artworks have their own identity, and no two are alike, so you have nothing to worry about; your artwork will be truly unique. Discover the artworks.

Yes, all the artworks displayed on Chef-d'oeuvre are unique and authentic. When you view a particular artwork's page, the artist signs all the displayed pieces, and they are delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity. Discover the oil paintings.

The artwork you're interested in may have already been sold. In that case, you can ask the artist to reproduce it, with or without a given model. If you want an exact replica, this is possible with slight variations. However, if the sold artwork was marked "unique, authentic, cannot be reproduced," it was the artist who specifically included this designation. We can offer this service because it's a small, independent website. If the artwork is available, you'll receive it quickly, within 24 to 72 hours. If not, it depends on the artwork; generally, the artist will contact the buyer and agree on a timeframe, depending on whether it's an oil painting, a clay sculpture, or a Venetian mask. Discover our oil sculptures.

All you need to do is register on Chef-d'Oeuvre and open an account. Social media buttons are required for this purpose. You can also subscribe to the newsletter to stay informed about all of Chef-d'Oeuvre's exciting activities. A newsletter detailing activities is also sent regularly, but not intrusively, to people who have registered on the art website. Discover Venetian masks in oil.

The drawings are placed directly under glass and sold as is. No, paintings or works of art in general are not framed. Some works are framed, in which case this is specified on the page of the work in question. However, it may be a work that already has a frame, in which case you can order it as is. The work can be ordered with or without a frame. If you want a frame and leave it to the artist to choose, you will be charged extra. Charcoal, pastel, and oil drawings are sold and protected by a glass cover. Discover the graphite drawings.
