Inspiration
This painting was done "alla prima," in a single session. Sienna earth was the dominant color. I created it in four stages, in the moment. For this work, I really wanted white daisies. The idea of a walk, of frolicking in the fields, like when we were young. I lived in a small village from a very young age, where they still drove cows down my street, and where, along with the singing birds, I could see a deer here and there. In the distance, you can see a doe with her fawn, but the real idea for this painting was, nevertheless, the daisies and the mountain. Since spring was here, I chose this very fitting title.
